I chose health information management because it is a versatile tool in the healthcare sector. Working in a pharmaceutical company, I immediately benefited from the programme, especially in document management. The focus is primarily on managing electronic data effectively.

After about thirty years in the field, studying health informatics at the University of Iceland came at the perfect time for me. All the changes and innovations within the healthcare system have intersected with the courses we've taken. I'm delighted with the opportunities I've had within my workplace, directly linked to my studies at UI.
